NYC | Jonah’s friend’s bday party

We spent the afternoon in the city yesterday. I specifically wanted to get some shopping done in SOHO, but we ended up just having lunch at Boom on Spring Street. Jonah did us a huge flavor by falling asleep right before we got seated.

We chose Boom for no particular reason, but once we were inside I loved the decor. The food was pretty good, too. Jeannie approved of the sangria.

Later, we went to C’s 2nd birthday party. He’s my college buddy’s son. We discovered that Jonah loves 3 things – dancing/music, the parachute, and bubbles. The party was held at Kidville on West 51st Street. C’s mom (and my friend from college), Ellen, just opened up a franchise there. If you’re looking for a space for your kids to play or have a party – this is the place.
